Members of the MEPhi Big Data&AI laboratory became finalists of the Leaders of Digital Transformation 2023 Hackathon

Leaders of Digital Transformation is the largest hackathon of the country, in which teams from Russia and other countries of the world compete in solving urgent problems of the city of Moscow and big business.

1103 teams took part in the 5th anniversary hackathon of the Mayor of Moscow, and competed in solving 21 problems. The team of the BigData&AI laboratory of MEPhI under the name "Way of the Samurai" in a difficult competitive struggle broke out in the finals.

During a week of sleepless days and nights, a recommendation service based on collaborative filtering was developed for participants of the Moscow Longevity program. The service is developed on the basis of Spark, PostgreSQL, Next.js technologies and deployed on a server based on the Russian Baikal processor.

The final is scheduled for June 10-12 in the heart of the innovative development of the capital – the "Lomonosov" cluster, INTC MSU "Vorobyovy Gory". 210 teams will take part in the final.
